Successful merging of two HR platforms

In the wake of a key acquisition, My team and I had the important task of merging the Think HR and Mammoth HR platforms. We crafted the product experience for what is now known as Mineral by identifying two key value propositions:

  • Redesigning Think HR's exceptional compliance content to be more user friendly.

  • Streamlining Mammoth HR's best-in-class concierge service

By fusing these distinct elements, Mineral has become a best-selling product and received high praise as an industry leader.

Improving Mineral’s compliance content

ThinkHR provided excellent compliance content, but its poor organization made navigation challenging to users. To address this issue, Mineral was designed to streamline navigation by implementing a task-based categorization. This approach ensures that all the tools needed for a specific task are easily accessible. Additionally, we introduced a robust filtering system to enhance search functionality, and a document preview to facilitate quick access to content on a single page. These updates have positioned Mineral as one of the most user-friendly compliance platforms available in the market.

The Mineral brand through service

As a HR company, efficiency and trust are an integral qualities of their brand. To embody efficiency, we created the new ticketing dashboard to provide a tailored and organized experience for customers and HR experts. For building trust, we designed all case documentation to be visible on the same page and built-in a clear way for organizations to ask follow-up questions. We also designed a feedback module into the experience so Mineral can monitor how the concierge service is performing and make continuous improvements on customer experience.

Designing an industry leader

There are many things we could have done to improve Mineral HR over it’s predecessors, but by understanding key value propositions and upgrading those experiences, Mineral HR has become a top ranked ethics and compliance software as rated by G2.

“The best HR compliance and corporate learning management system software is Mineral.”
